This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

~ You will need ~

The word art Halloween I used is by Melissa. You can find her awesome work @ Scrappy Expressions
Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
My supplies here. The zips include the tubes and font

Open the tubes in psp
Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them
Minimize them all
Double click to open the font "2Peas Blessings" and minimize it on your desktop

~ Step 1 ~

File, New
Width and Height: 600, Transparent Background
Selections, Select All
Copy nathygreygrungeflower.jpg and paste into selection
Selections, Select None
Adjust, Brightness and Contrast, Brightness/Contrast and use these settings:
Brightness: 48, Contrast: 15

~ Step 2 ~

Copy SKF_BeautyWitch169.07.pspimage and paste as new layer
Move the witch to the right
Change the Opacity to 30 and the Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy)

~ Step 3 ~

Maximize mds7254 Mystic.pspimage
Hide Raster 3
Using your Selection Tool set to rectangle, select the image inside the frame
Edit, Copy Merged
Maximize nathy_frame_01.pspimage
Activate Raster 2
Paste as new layer into your canvas
Move the picture to the right
Activate Raster 2 once again
Select the grey part using the Magic Wand Tool and use these settings:
Mode: Replace, Match mode: RGB Value, Tolerance 20, Continuous Checked
Feather: 0, Anti-alias Checked, Outside
Selections, Invert
Activate the image and hit delete once on your keyboard
Selections, Select None
Edit, Copy Merged

~ Step 4 ~

Paste as a new layer into your working area
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 10, all other options Unchecked
Move the frame to the left side (look at my image for placement)

~ Step 5 ~

Copy nathy_tapes_01.png and paste as new layer
Image, Resize and use these settings:
80 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Move the tape to the top right corner of the picture

~ Step 6 ~

Copy SKF_BeautyWitch169.07.pspimage again and paste as new layer
Image, Resize and use these settings:
60 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 10, all other options Unchecked
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:



Position the witch into the middle of the frame

~ Step 7 ~

Copy lace.png and paste as new layer
Move the lace at the top
Layers, Duplicate
Image, Flip

~ Step 8 ~

Copy SE_wordART_08_Halloween.pspimage and paste as new layer
Image, Resize and use these settings:
90 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Move the text in the bottom right corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and the same settings as before
Copy SE_wordART_09_Halloween.pspimage and paste as new layer
Image, Resize and use these settings:
75 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Move the text in the top right corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and the same settings as before

~ Step 9 ~

Copy 2409 Scrap accesories abr-62 ŽAlejandra Rosales-1-6-07.pspimage
Paste as new layer into your canvas
Image, Resize and use these settings:
60 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 0, Saturation: 0
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and the same settings as before
Move the chain into the top right corner and position it so it
looks like its hanging from the hang word
(I did delete a little part at the top of the chain so it looked more real)

~ Step 10 ~

Copy nathy_tapes_02.png and paste as new layer
Image, Resize and use these settings:
75 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 0, Saturation: 0
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 10, all other options Unchecked
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and the same settings as before
Position the tape at the bottom of the frame (look at my image for placement)

~ Step 11 ~

Activate the Text tool and use the following settings:



Set your Foreground color to NULL
Set your Background color to #000000
Type your name or whatever you want
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 10, all other options Unchecked
Position the text inside the tape we just put
Layers, Convert to Raster Layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and the same settings as before
Layers, Merge All (Flatten)
Add your watermark, resize if you'd like and save your work as jpg
