Any resemblance to other online tutorials is purely coincidence ŠN@thy 2007 This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions ~ You will need ~ *** The alpha I used is by Dozi. You can download it here (first alpha at the top) *** The stitches tube I used is by Melissa. You can find her awesome work @ Scrappy Expressions The pin I used is from Simply Original Scraps by Cindy. You can visit her awesome site here Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here My supplies here. The zip includes tubes, image, backgrounds, font and alpha Open tubes, image, backgrounds and alpha in psp Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them Minimize them all Double click to open the font "Bambino" and minimize it on your desktop Set your foreground color to White (#FFFFFF) ~ Step 1 ~ File, New Set Width and Height to 500, Transparent background Fill the layer with white Copy nathyoldpaper.jpg and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use these settings: 85 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ![]() ~ Step 2 ~ Copy nathy_bg2.jpg and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use the following settings: 85 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Resize once again using same settings Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Right, Degrees: 20, everything else Unchecked Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before ~ Step 3 ~ Copy nathyoldpapermix.jpg and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use the following settings: 85 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Resize once again using same settings Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 20, everything else Unchecked Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before ~ Step 4 ~ Copy cassandra_marchand_cadre2.psp and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use the following settings: 85 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Resize once again using same settings Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 32, Saturation: 44 Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before Repeat this Drop Shadow but change Vertical and Horizontal to -3 Copy weg-102006.jpg and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use the following settings: 73 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Move this layer down so its under the frame Move the image down a little bit and to the left so we can see the ear ~ Step 5 ~ Copy SE_Easter_CrossStitching.pspimage and paste as new layer Layers, Arrange, Bring to top Image, Resize and use the following settings: 65 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Adjust, Brightness and Contrast, Gamma Correction and use these settings: Link Checked, Red Green Blue set to 0.42 Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ![]() Move these stitches down so its holding the frame Layers, Duplicate Image, Flip ~ Step 6 ~ Copy TreeTags_Elements20061006.pspimage and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use the following settings: 74 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 0, Saturation: 0 Move the jewel into the frame's top left corner Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ![]() ~ Step 7 ~ Copy Rina-GrandpasCabin-RustyBrad.pspimage and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use the following settings: 75 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use the same settings as before Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before Move the brad on top of the jewel's top star ~ Step 8 ~ Maximize LLM_Emb_Pins_SOScraps.pspimage and copy the top layer pin Paste as new layer into your working area Move it to the right side of the frame (Look at my image for placement) Using your selection tool set to rectangle, select the middle part of the pin (7-10 pixels wide) Hit delete once on your keyboard Selections, Select None Layers, New Raster Layer ***Zoom in for better view of the pin*** Select the part you cut once again but this time be carefull to only select the pin part (3 pixels wide only!) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before Selections, Select None This will give the impression the middle part of the pin is under the background ~ Step 9 ~ Maximize Diamonds.tub and copy the diamond of your choice (My choice was 2nd row, 3rd diamond from the left) Paste as new layer into your working area Image, Resize and use the following settings: 30 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen Move the diamond into the last star of the jewel on the left side Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 5 Layers, Duplicate Move the 2nd diamond into the round part of the pin (Look at my image for placement) ~ Step 10 ~ Copy wordArt4_joluvsdogs.pspimage and paste as new layer Move the words at the bottom of the image (Look at my image for placement) ~ Step 11 ~ Maximize katzerl's-alphas-brown'paper-01.psp Image, Resize and use the following settings: 25 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 32, Saturation: 44 Select (using Selection Tool set to rectangle), copy and paste each letter for your name Move them down at the bottom and position them (Look at my image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 6 on each letter ~ Step 12 ~ Set Foreground color to NULL Set your Background color to Black (#000000) Activate text tool and use the following settings: Type your name once again Layers, Convert to Raster Layer Position on the top of the letters (Look at my image for placement) Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and the same settings as in step 6 ~ Step 13 ~ Hide the background layer and crop your image Unhide the background layer Layers, Merge All (Flatten) Add your watermark and save your work as jpg Your tag is finished.
