You can find her awesome artwork at www.soanala.com The glitter I used is from Melissa. You can find her awesome work @ Scrappy Expressions Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here My supplies here. The zip includes tubes and font Open tubes in psp Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them Minimize them all Double click to open the font "Snooty Fox NF" and minimize it on your desktop Set your foreground color to White (#FFFFFF) Set your background color to #7F8643 ~ Step 1 ~ File, New Width 1500 and Height 1026 with transparent background It is a big canvas but only to have enough room to work with Fill this layer with White (#FFFFFF) Maximize Christmas13Nov07Bnll.pspimage Copy Raster 2 (bottom layer) and paste as new layer Copy nathy_christmas_roundframe_base.png and paste as new layer ~ Step 2 ~ Activate the layer with the image (not the frame) and using your Raster Deform Tool, click on the middle right handle and drag it out a bit so there is no gap between the frame and the image Do the same thing on the left side Change the Opacity to 32 ~ Step 3 ~ Maximize Christmas13Nov07Bnll.pspimage once again Copy Raster 1 Paste as new layer into your working area Change the Opacity to 44 Hide the frame layer by clicking on the eye Layers, Merge, Merge Visible Unhide the frame layer ~ Step 4 ~ Copy fantasy599.pspimage and paste as new layer Make sure this layer is underneath the frame layer Move the lady so it fits nicely into the frame Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: (color is #444726) ![]() ~ Step 5 ~ Click on the frame layer to activate it (should be top layer) Activate your Magic Wand and use these settings: Mode: Add, Match mode: RBG Value, Tolerance: 0, Contiguous Checked, Feather: 0, Anti-alias Checked, Outside Select outside the frame Activate the lady layer, hit delete on your keyboard Do the same for the background layer Selections, Select None Click on the frame layer to activate it Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: (color is #444726) ![]() Repeat the Drop Shadow but change Vertical and Horizontal to -2 Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 6 ~ Copy nathy_icyglow_ornament_6.png and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use these settings: 75 Percent, Resample using Smart Size, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 47, Saturation: 85 Move the snowflake on the left side of the frame Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before but change Vertical and Horizontal to 2 ~ Step 7 ~ Copy nathy_bow_rope_3.png and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use these settings: 30 Percent, Resample using Smart Size, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 47, Saturation: 85 Move the bow on top of the snowflake's eyelet Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before ~ Step 8 ~ Copy nathy_gold_screw.png and paste as new layer Move it on top of the bow so its holding it Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before Copy nathy_trees.png and paste as new layer Move the trees at the bottom of the frame Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before Repeat Drop Shadow once again ~ Step 9 ~ Activate your Ellipse Tool Set your Background to Null Set the Ellipse Tool Mode to Draw Circle Show Nodes and Create On Vector Checked Line style set to solid, Width set to 3 and Anti-alias Checked Draw a circle that will be a little bigger than the inside white part of the frame Objects, Align, Center in Canvas ~ Step 10 ~ Activate the Text tool and use the following settings: Switch your Foreground and Background Set your Foreground color to NULL and your Background color should be White #FFFFFF Position your mouse inside the bow and over the circle until the A change for a A with a curve shape underneath it ![]() Click and type "May all your Christmas dreams come true" without the quotes ~ Step 11 ~ In your Layers Palette Click on the eye beside New Ellipse to hide it Right click on Vector 1 then Convert to Raster Layer Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before but change the color to Black (#000000) Move the text layer underneath the bow layer Layers, Merge, Merge Visible Crop your canvas Image, Resize and use these settings: 50 Percent, Resample using Smart Size, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Checked Minimize this frame for now ~ Step 12 ~ File, New Width and Height set to 600 with transparent background Fill this layer with White (#FFFFFF) Copy Misted_Victorian_Christmas_House_RM.psp and paste as new layer Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 47, Saturation: 85 Move the image at the top Duplicate this layer Image, Mirror Move this one at the bottom so they barely touch each other ~ Step 13 ~ Copy SE_Glitter_05.pspimage and paste as new layer Move the glitter into the bottom right corner Layers, Duplicate Image, Flip Layers, Duplicate Image, Mirror Layers, Duplicate Image, Mirror Move this glitter into the bottom left corner Copy our frame we made earlier and paste as new layer ~ Step 14 ~ Activate the Text tool and use the following settings: Set your Foreground color to White (#FFFFFF) Set your Background color to #7F8643 Type your name Position your name at the bottom of the frame Layers, Convert to Raster Layer Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before but change the color to #444726 ~ Step 15 ~ Hide the background layer and crop your image Unhide the background layer Layers, Merge All (Flatten) Add your watermark, add Soa Lee's credits (© Soa Lee www.soanala.com), resize if you'd like and save your work as jpg Your tag is finished.
