This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

~ You will need ~
Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
My supplies here. The zip includes the images, swirl, words and font
Double click to open the font "Scrap Cursive" and minimize it on your desktop
Open the tubes in PSP and minimize them all

File, New
Set Width to 424px and Height to 460px, Transparent background
Fill with Color White

Copy swirl.pspimage and paste as new layer
Set your Foreground color to #5B583F
Lock Transparency



Using Flood Fill Tool, fill the layer with your foreground color
Lock Transparency



Duplicate this layer
Click on the Swirl bottom layer
Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 3
Right Click on the top Swirl layer and Merge Down

Maximize shape.pspimage
Copy and paste as new layer in your canvas
Layers, Arrange, Bring to top
Move the shape down
Lock Transparency
Using Flood Fill Tool, fill the layer with your foreground color
Lock Transparency
Selections, Select All
Selections, Float
Selections, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Select Selection Borders and use these settings:
Outside Checked, Anti-alias Checked, Border width: 5
Layers, New Raster Layer
Fill with your foreground color
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel and use these settings:



Selections, Select None
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 50, Blur 5 and Color Black

Click on the shape layer
Selections, Select All
Selections, Float
Selections, Defloat
Layers, New Raster Layer
Set your foreground to pattern and find foreverfallenpattern.jpg (Angle 0, Scale 100)
Fill the selection with the pattern
Selections, Select None
Change the Opacity of this layer to 34
Hide the background (White) and the Swirl layers
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Unhide the other layers

Copy lady.jpg and paste as new layer in your canvas
Selections, Select All
Selections, Float
Selections, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Select Selection Borders and use these settings:
Outside Checked, Anti-alias Checked, Border width: 5
Layers, New Raster Layer
Fill with your foreground color
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel and use the same settings as before
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before
Selections, Select None
Move the image up and to the left

Copy crow.jpg and paste as new layer in your canvas
Selections, Select All
Selections, Float
Selections, Defloat
Selections, Modify, Select Selection Borders and use these settings:
Outside Checked, Anti-alias Checked, Border width: 5
Layers, New Raster Layer
Fill with your foreground color
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel and use the same settings as before
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before
Selections, Select None
Move the image up and to the right
Move this layer under the lady frame

Copy words1.pspimage and paste as new layer in your canvas
Move it to the left (look at my image)
Copy words2.pspimage and paste as new layer in your canvas
Change the Luminance to Multiply
Move it down and to the right (look at my image)
Copy words3.pspimage and paste as new layer in your canvas
Change the Luminance to Multiply
Move it up and to the right (look at my image)

Set your Foreground to #F0E7D6 and Background to #5B583F
Click on the Text Tool and use these settings:



Type your name (If your name is too long, change the size to 16 or 18)
Position it
In the layer palette right click on your text layer and convert to a raster layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Vertical and Horizontal 2, Opacity 50, Blur 5 and Color Black
