This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

~ You will need ~

Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
VM Natural (Lakeside Reflection), you can download here
Animation Shop, you can download here
My supplies here. The zip includes image, tubes, brushes and font

Put the brushes in your brush folder
(If the brushes are not working I included them in psp file format)
Open the tubes and image in psp
Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them
Minimize them all
Double click to open the font "Good Vibrations ROB" and minimize it on your desktop
Set your Foreground color to #DED8B8
Set your Background color to #46546E

~ Step 1 ~

Maximize the picture Fantasy-13.jpg
Duplicate your image and minimize it for later use
This will be our working image
Layers, Promote Background Layer
Image, Canvas Size and use the following settings:



Layers, Duplicate
Image, Flip
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Duplicate this layer 2 times
Rename the bottom layer Lake 1, the second layer Lake 2 and the top layer Lake 3

~ Step 2 ~

Hide Lake 2 and Lake 3
Make sure Lake 1 layer is the active one
Effects, Plugins, VM Natural, Lakeside Reflection and use the following settings:



Unhide Lake 2 and make sure it is the active layer
Effects, Plugins, VM Natural, Lakeside Reflection and use the following settings:



Unhide Lake 3 and make sure it is the active layer
Effects, Plugins, VM Natural, Lakeside Reflection and use the following settings:



~ Step 3 ~

Layers, New Raster Layer
Selections, Select All
Effects, 3D Effects, Cutout and use the following settings:



Selections, Select None

~ Step 4 ~

Image, Canvas Size and use the following settings:



Layers, New Raster Layer
Using your Magic wand with Sample merged check, select the transparent part
Fill the selection with your background color (dark blue)
Selections, Select None

~ Step 5 ~

Activate your Selection Tool and use Custom Selection with the following settings:



Hit delete once on your keyboard
Activate your Selection Tool and use Custom Selection with the following settings:



Hit delete once on your keyboard

~ Step 6 ~

Layers, New Raster Layer
Maximize the copy of the picture we made earlier
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings:



Image, Resize and use the following settings:



Adjust, Blur, Gaussian Blur and set the Radius to 5

~ Step 7 ~

Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds and use the following settings:



Layers, Duplicate
Image, Flip
Set the opacity of this layer to 50
Layers, New Raster Layer
Selections, Select All
Effects, 3D Effects, Cutout and use the same settings as in step 3
Selections, Select None
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

~ Step 8 ~

Edit, Copy
Back to our main image
Edit, Paste, Paste into Selection
Selections, Select None
Layers, Duplicate
Image, Mirror
Activate the frame layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel and use the following settings:



~ Step 9 ~

Layers, New Raster Layer
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Activate your Brush Tool, find sr_text_013 and use the following settings:



Apply the brush with your dark color in the bottom right corner of the picture
(look at my image for placement)
***Or use the brush provided in psp format***

~ Step 10 ~

Activate your Brush Tool, find victorianromancebrushes 014 and use the following settings:



Apply the brush with your dark color in the bottom right corner of the picture
(look at my image for placement)
***Or use the brush provided in psp format***
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:



Repeat Drop Shadow but change Vertical and Horizontal to -4

~ Step 11 ~

Copy HS_Element_StickPins_02 and paste as new layer
Move it into the right panel (look at my image for placement)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:



~ Step 12 ~

Set your foreground to Null
Activate text tool and use the following settings:



Type your name or whatever you want
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings:
Direction Left, Degrees 90, All layers NOT checked!
Move it into the left panel (look at my image for placement)
Using the handles around the name stretch it to fit the box
Convert to Raster Layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 10
Repeat Drop Shadow but change Vertical and Horizontal to -4

~ Step 13 ~

Hide Lake 1, Lake 2 and Lake 3 layers
Right click on top layer then Merge, Merge Visible
Duplicate this layer 2 times
Rename the first frame layer Frame 1, second frame layer Frame 2 and top layer Frame 3
Hide Frame 2 and Frame 3 layers
Unhide Lake 1



Right click on Lake 1 layer then Merge, Merge visible
Hide this layer

~ Step 14 ~

Unhide Lake 2 and Frame 2 layers



Right click on Lake 2 layer then Merge, Merge Visible
Hide this layer

~ Step 15 ~

Unhide Lake 3 and Frame 3 layers



Right click on Lake 3 layer then Merge, Merge Visible
Unhide all layers
File, Save as
Name it lake.pspimage and save it somewhere you can easily find it

~ Step 16 ~

Lauch Animation Shop
Open lake.pspimage
In the top menu click Edit, Select All
then Animation, Frame Properties



Set Display time to 30 or whatever speed you prefer
Still in the top menu click on View, Animation
If you would like to resize your animation its now time before we save it
If thats the case then close the Animation View but not the file
Then in the top menu click Animation, Resize Animation
You can resize using pixels or percent...the choice is yours
Once you are happy with the size then you can save your animation

~ Step 17 ~

File, Save as, give it a name then click Save



On next box make sure the settings are set for Better Image Quality



Click next



Click next once again



Click next once again



Click Finish
