This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

~ You will need ~
Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
My supplies here. The zip includes tubes, patterns, masks and font

Put the masks into your mask folder
Open tubes and patterns in psp
Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them
Minimize them all
Double click to open the font "CK Tea Party" and minimize it on your desktop

~ Step 1 ~

Set your foreground color to White (#FFFFFF)
File, New
Set Width and Height to 700, Transparent background
Fill your layer with white
Maximize corrugated_1_12x12.jpg
Layers, Promote Background Layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask From Disk
Find Nik-051307-04 and use these settings:



~ Step 2 ~

Edit, Copy Merged
Paste as new layer into your working area
Image, Resize and use these settings:
65 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:



~ Step 3 ~

Maximize Cherokee~StripePaper.jpg
Layers, Promote Background Layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask From Disk
Find mask085 and use these settings:



~ Step 4 ~

Edit, Copy Merged
Paste as new layer into your working area
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Right, Degrees: 20, everything else Unchecked
Move this background up and to the left a bit
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before

~ Step 5 ~

Maximize E Papers by SC 864x864 Plaid 3.jpg
Layers, Promote Background Layer
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask From Disk
Find OilPaint3 and use these settings:



~ Step 6 ~

Edit, Copy Merged
Paste as new layer into your working area
Image, Resize and use these settings:
65 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 20, everything else Unchecked
Move this background to the left a bit
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before

~ Step 7 ~

Hide the bottom layer (white background)
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask From Disk
Find CazMask61 and use these settings:



~ Step 8 ~

Layers, Merge, Merge Group
Image, Resize and use these settings:
90 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Unhide the bottom layer

~ Step 9 ~

Copy SS-handwriting_74.pspimage and paste as new layer
Image, Resize and use these settings:
45 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Move the words down into the light area

~ Step 10 ~

Maximize KAT_2007_020605.pspimage
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Layers, Load/Save Mask, Load Mask From Disk
Find _mask010 and use these settings:



~ Step 11 ~

Edit, Copy Merged
Paste as new layer into your working area
Image, Resize and use these settings:
80 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Move the picture to the right

~ Step 12 ~

Copy BKD_Painted_Frame.pspimage and paste as new layer
Move the frame to the right, on top of the picture
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before

~ Step 13 ~

Copy lookingbacktext_bb.pspimage and paste as new layer
Image, Resize and use these settings:
40 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Move the words into the frame, at the bottom of the picture
Move this layer down so the text is under the frame layer

~ Step 14 ~

Click on the top layer to activate it
Copy scrapWORDSTAPLE_joluvsdogs.psp and paste as new layer
Position this tag just over the handwriting text
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 29, Saturation: 102
Ajust, Brightness and Contrast, Gamma Correction and use these settings:
Link Checked, Red Green Blue set to 0.42

~ Step 15 ~

Copy Pin.psp and paste as new layer
Image, Mirror
Image, Resize and use these settings:
70 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Position the pin over the tag
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before

~ Step 16 ~

Activate the Text tool and use the following settings:



Set your Foreground color to #AE9C65
Set your Background color to #2E3820
Type your name
Position your name into the bottom left corner
Layers, Convert to Raster Layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and these same settings as before

~ Step 17 ~

Hide the bottom layer
Crop your image
Unhide the bottom layer
Layers, Merge All (Flatten)
Add your watermark, resize if you'd like and save your work as jpg
