Any resemblance to other online tutorials is purely coincidence ŠN@thy 2007 This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions ~ You will need ~ The chain ribbon accent I used from Simply Original Scraps by Cindy. You can find her awesome work @ here Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here Texturizer, you can download here Brush Strokes (Sprayed Strokes), you can download here FM Tile Tools (Blend Emboss), you can download here Page Curl by Mark McLaren, you can download here My supplies here. The zip includes tubes, picture, brushes and font Put the brushes into your brush folder Open tubes and picture in psp Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them Minimize them all Double click to open the font "Sands of Fire" and minimize it on your desktop Set your foreground color to #BD9D74 Set your background color to #8EA1A3 ~ Step 1 ~ File, New Set Width to 550 and Height to 450, Transparent background Copy mdsframe.pspimage and paste as new layer Activate Selection Tool, Selection Type set to Rectangle Click on Custom Selection and use these settings: Left: 66, Top: 76, Right: 484, Bottom 375 Effects, Plugins, Texturize, Texturizer and use these settings: Texture: Sandstone, Scaling: 100, Relief: 1, Light Direction: Top, Invert Unchecked Effects, Plugins, Brush Strokes, Sprayed Strokes and use these settings: Stroke Length: 12, Spray Radius: 7, Stroke Direction: Right Diag. Effects, Plugins, FM Tile Tools, Blend Emboss and use the default settings (just click apply) Do NOT deselect! ~ Step 2 ~ Layers, New Raster Layer Copy harbour1.jpg and paste into selection Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Exclusion Selections, Select None Copy recorder_by_william_whitaker.psp and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use these settings: 75 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Layers, Merge, Merge Visible Duplicate this layer twice ~ Step 3 ~ Make sure the top layer is active Activate Selection Tool, Selection Type set to Rectangle Click on Custom Selection and use these settings: Left: 55, Top: 65, Right: 495, Bottom 385 Effects, Plugins, Mac's, Page Curl and use these settings: Use the default settings but change Vertical to Horizontal Selections, Select None Change the Blend Mode of this layer to Luminance (Legacy) Layers, Merge, Merge Down Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 5, everything else Unchecked Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 4 ~ Maximize Kara_Lace-Set1.psp Using your Selection Tool, select the lace border at the top and copy it Paste as new layer into your working area Image, Resize and use these settings: 59 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ![]() Repeat Drop Shadow once again Move the lace at the top of the frame so we see about the 1/3 of it Move this layer down under the frame layer Layers, Duplicate Image, Flip Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 5 ~ Maximize Kara_Lace-Set1.psp Using the Freehand Selection Tool, select the flower of your choice and copy it Paste as new layer into your working area Move the flower to the left side letting only a small portion of it showing pass the frame Move this layer down under the frame layer Layers, Duplicate Image, Mirror Layers, Merge, Merge Visible ~ Step 6 ~ Layers, New Raster Layer Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom Activate your Brush Tool, find BB_05 brush and use these settings: Apply the brush using both foreground and background color You can rotate the brush, resize it, whatever you want! Once you are done with the brush, reduce the Opacity of this layer to 40% Layers, Merge, Merge Visible Layers, New Raster Layer Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom Fill this layer with White color (#FFFFFF) ~ Step 7 ~ Click on the top layer to active it Maximize PaperMessages_Accents_LM.psp Using your Selection Tool, select the beige paper (2nd from the right) and copy it Paste as new layer into your working area Image, Resize and use these settings: 65 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Right, Degrees: 15, everything else Unchecked Move the paper to the right side of the frame (look at my image for placement) Ajust, Brightness and Contrast, Gamma Correction and use these settings: Link Checked, Red Green Blue set to 0.66 Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings: Hue: 32, Saturation: 40 Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings: ![]() ~ Step 8 ~ Copy nathyminiscrews.pspimage and paste as new layer Image, Resize and use these settings: 40 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Position the screw to the right so it holds the paper If you want the screw to be a little darker use the Gamma Correction with the same settings as before Layers, Duplicate Image, Mirror Move this one to the left and down a little so its holding the frames on the lace ~ Step 9 ~ Activate the Text tool and use the following settings: Set your Foreground color to NULL Set your Background color to #4C4A4D Type your name Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings: Direction: Left, Degrees: 78, everything else Unchecked Position your name into the paper on the right Layers, Convert to Raster Layer Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and these same settings as before ~ Step 10 ~ Maximize SOScraps_FF_Chain_Ribbon_Accents.pspimage Copy the Chain Ribbon Accent of your choice (I choose the one on Raster 3) Paste as new layer into your working area Image, Resize and use these settings: 75 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and these same settings as before Position the chain at the bottom of the frame (look at my image for placement) ~ Step 11 ~ Layers, New Raster Layer Activate your Brush Tool, find lilbrokenangel_11 brush and use these settings: Using your background color, apply the brush in the bottom left corner of the image (Look at my image for placement) Hide the background layer and crop your image Unhide the background layer Layers, Merge All (Flatten) Add your watermark, resize if you'd like and save your work as jpg Your tag is finished.
