This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions
~ You will need ~
Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
My supplies here. The zip includes tubes, pattern and font
Open tubes and pattern in psp
Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them
Minimize them all
Double click to open the font "Olde English" and minimize it on your desktop
~ Step 1 ~
File, New
Set Width to 600 and Height to 500, Transparent background
Fill the layer with white
Copy nathybrownclouds.pspimage and paste as new layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
~ Step 2 ~
Copy lace43-sandi.pspimage and paste as new layer
Move the lace to the right a bit
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 29, Saturation: 56
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
~ Step 3 ~
Copy tornpaper.pspimage and paste as new layer
Move the torn paper to the right
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Make sure Shadow on new layer is Checked!
Change the Opacity of the shadow layer to 50
Click on the top layer to make it active
~ Step 4 ~
Maximize Requiem Misted by SadiesSentiments06.psp
Hide the Watermark layer
Edit, Copy Merged
Paste as new layer into your working area
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize and use these settings:
Hue: 29, Saturation: 56
~ Step 5 ~
Image, Resize and use these settings:
80 Percent, Resample using Bicubic, Lock aspect ratio Checked, Resize all layers Unchecked
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Right, Degrees: 20, everything else Unchecked
Adjust, Sharpness, Sharpen
Move the picture to the right (look at my image for placement)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 1
~ Step 6 ~
Activate text tool and use the following settings:
Set your foreground to Null
Set your background to pattern, find requiempattern.jpg and use these settings:
Angle: 0, Scale 100
Type "{" without the quotes
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Right, Degrees: 20, everything else Unchecked
Layers, Convert to Raster Layer
Position on the left side of the picture (look at my image for placement)
~ Step 7 ~
Layers, Duplicate
Image, Mirror
Image, Flip
Position on the right side of the picture (look at my image for placement)
Activate the first bracket layer (on the left)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 1
Activate the second bracket (on the right)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before
but change Horizontal to -3
~ Step 8 ~
Copy fastener_lila_fresh_spring_by_majula_designs.pspimage and paste as new layer
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Right, Degrees: 45, everything else Unchecked
Move it down into the bottom left corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use these settings:
Repeat the Drop Shadow
~ Step 9 ~
Edit, Paste as new layer (the fastener still should be into your clipboard)
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use these settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 45, everything else Unchecked
Move it up into the top left corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before
Repeat the Drop Shadow once again
~ Step 10 ~
Maximize BrownBow_VintageVines_BrookeKroegerDesigns.pspimage
Copy Raster 2 copy and paste as new layer into your working area
Position the bow into the top right corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before
Do NOT repeat the Drop Shadow
~ Step 11 ~
Copy 8heartgoldchain.pspimage and paste as new layer
Position the heart into the top right corner
so it looks like its hanging from the bow (I already cut the chain for you)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before
Repeat the Drop Shadow once again
~ Step 12 ~
Copy GMendes_SweetPink_flower 02.pspimage and paste as new layer
Position the flower into the bottom right corner
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as before
Repeat the Drop Shadow once again
~ Step 13 ~
Activate text tool and use the following settings:
Set your foreground color to #756448
Set your background to pattern, find requiempattern.jpg and use these settings:
Angle: 0, Scale 100
Type your name
Position at bottom of picture
Layers, Convert to Raster Layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and these settings:
~ Step 14 ~
Hide the background layer and crop your image
Unhide the background layer
Layers, Merge All (Flatten)
Add your watermark, resize if you'd like and save your work as jpg
