This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

~ You will need ~
Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
Animation Shop, you can download here
My supplies here. The zip includes the tubes and font

Open the tubes in psp
Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them
Minimize them all
Double click to open the font "2Peas Blessings" and minimize it on your desktop
Set your Foreground color to White (#FFFFFF)
Set your Background color to #CC944E

~ Step 1 ~

File, New
Width 185, Height 185, Transparent background
Fill the layer with the background color (orange)
Selections, Select All
Selections, Modify, Contract 2
Fill with white
Selections, Modify, Contract 1
Fill with background color
Selections, Modify, Contract 6
Fill with white
Selections, Modify, Contract 1
Hit Delete once on your keyboard
Selections, Select None

~ Step 2 ~

Copy SnowmanHead10-06~LM.psp and paste as new layer
Move it down so the top of the hat line up with the frame
(Look at my image for placement)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:



~ Step 3 ~

Set your foreground to #8F7F9D
Make sure your background is still set to orange color
Set your foreground to Gradient: Linear, Angle 45, Repeats 0
Activate the frame layer
Using Magic Wand tolerance set to 0, select inside the frame
Fill with the gradient
Selections, Invert
Activate the snowman layer
Hit Delete once on your keyboard
Selections, Select None
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

~ Step 4 ~

Image, Canvas Size
Width and Height 300, Placement will be center
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 2
Layers, Duplicate
Activate the bottom layer
Adjust, Hue and Saturation, Colorize using the following settings:
Hue: 190, Saturation: 32
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate using the following settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 45, All layers not checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

~ Step 5 ~

Layers, New Raster Layer
Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom
Fill this layer with white
Layers, New Raster Layer
Maximize snowflakes.pspimage and copy the Purple snowflake
Paste as new selection into your working area
Copy and paste as many as you'd like and position them where you want
You can even resize them if you prefer
Do the same thing with the Orange snowflake
Once you are satisfied with the snowflakes
Selections, Select None (if a selection is still active)
Change the Opacity of this layer to 30

~ Step 6 ~

Layers, New Raster Layer
Maximize doodle.pspimage and copy the Purple layer
Paste as new selection into your working area
Move the selection down in the left bottom corner
(Look at my image for placement)
Selections, Select None
Layers, Duplicate
Image, Flip
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings:
Direction: Right, Degrees: 45, All layers not checked
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Set the Opacity of this layer to 40

~ Step 7 ~

Layers, New Raster Layer
Maximize doodle.pspimage and copy the Orange layer
Paste as new selection into your working area
Move the selection up in the left top corner
(Look at my image for placement)
Selections, Select None
Layers, Duplicate
Image, Flip
Image, Mirror
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Set the Opacity of this layer to 40
If the layer containing the frames is not the top layer then
Layers, Arrange, Bring to Top
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

~ Step 8 ~

Copy bow.pspimage and paste as new layer
Position it just over the frame on the left side
(Look at my image for placement)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 2
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible

~ Step 9 ~

Set your foreground to #8F7F9D
Set your background to #CC944E
Activate Text Tool and use the following settings:



Type your name
Position the text

Layers, Convert to Raster Layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 2
***If you want to add your watermark it is now time to do it***
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Rename this layer Bottom

~ Step 10 ~

Copy screw.pspimage and paste as new layer
Rename this layer Screw
Position the screw in the top right corner
(Look at my image for placement)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:



~ Step 11 ~

Copy winni.xristmas.7.pspimage and paste as new layer
Rename this layer Bell1
Layers, Arrange, Move Down (so the bell layer is under the screw layer)
Position the bell so it looks like its hanging from the screw
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:



~ Step 12 ~

Layers, Duplicate
Rename this layer Bell2
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings:
Directions: Left, Degrees: 20, All layers not checked
Move the bell to the right a little so its hanging from the screw
Adjust, Sharpness, Unsharp Mask and use the following settings:
Radius: 1.00, Strength: 64, Clipping: 2, Luminance only not checked
Repeat Unsharp Mask

~ Step 13 ~

Activate Bell1 layer and duplicate
Rename this layer Bell3
Move this layer up so its on top of Bell2
Image, Mirror
Move the bell back to the right so its hanging from the screw

~ Step 14 ~

If Screw is not the top layer then move it up
If Bottom is not the bottom layer then move it down
Hide all layers except Bottom, Bell1 and Screw
Edit, Copy Merged
Launch Animation Shop
Edit, Paste, As New Animation
Back to PSP
Hide all layers except Bottom, Bell2 and Screw
Edit, Copy Merged
Back to Animation Shop
Edit, Paste, After Current Frame
Back to PSP
Hide all layers except Bottom, Bell3 and Screw
Edit, Copy Merged
Back to Animation Shop
Edit, Paste, After Current Frame

~ Step 15 ~

Edit, Select All
Animation, Frame Properties and put 25
***If you want to resize your animation it is now time***
Just click on Animation, Resize Animation then you can resize using pixels or percent
Make sure Resize Type is set to Bicubic resample and Maintain aspect ratio is checked
View, Animation
File, Save
Give it a name and click Next (or Finish) on all windows until you are done
