This tutorial was written using PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

Paint Shop Pro, a 30 day trial can be downloaded here
Simple (Top Left Mirror), you can download here
VDL Adrenaline (Snowflakes), you can download here
Animation Shop, you can download here
My supplies here. The zip includes the tubes, pattern, picture and fonts
Open the tubes and patterns in psp
Tubes have HIDDEN layers which mean you must unhide to see them
Minimize them all
Double click to open the font "Miss Le Gatees" and minimize it on your desktop
Double click to open the font "Niagara Solid" and minimize it on your desktop
Set your Foreground and Background color to White (#FFFFFF)
***This tutorial is kinda long but it is not hard***
~ Step 1 ~
File, New
Width 350, Height 350, Transparent background
Fill the layer with white
~ Step 2 ~
Copy je_webchallenge_072306.pspimage and paste as new layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:
Repeat Drop Shadow but change Vertical and Horizontal to -2
~ Step 3 ~
Copy LayerItUp.pspimage and paste as new layer
Move it to the left
(Look at my image for placement)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and repeat both settings from step 2
~ Step 4 ~
Activate you Magic Wand and set Tolerance to 0
Click once in the grey part to select it
Selections, Modify, Expand 1
Layers, New Raster Layer
Set your foreground to pattern, find BG_winter_blue_angiesvoboda.jpg
and use the following settings:
Angle: 0, Scale 100
Fill the selection with the pattern
Selections, Select None
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Rename this layer Bottom
~ Step 5 ~
Maximize OleJolly.jpg
Image, Add Borders, 5 pixels in white color
Activate your Magic Wand and select the border
Effects, 3D Effects, Inner Bevel and use the following settings:
Selections, Select None
~ Step 6 ~
Copy GM Scrap _ Kit Primavera _ Element 03.pspimage and paste as new layer
Image, Flip
Image, Mirror
Position the corner in the top left corner
Effects, Plugins, Simple, Top Left Mirror
Just click ok
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
~ Step 7 ~
Edit, Copy
Back to our working area
Edit, Paste as New Layer
Image, Rotate, Free Rotate and use the following settings:
Direction: Left, Degrees: 15, All layers not checked
Move the picture to the right and a little down

Rename this layer Snow 1
Layers, Duplicate
Rename this layer Snow 2
Layers, Duplicate
Rename this layer Snow 3
Hide Snow 2 and Show 3 and make sure Snow 1 is the active layer
~ Step 9 ~
Activate FreeHand Selection with the following settings:
Selection type: Point to point, Mode: Add (Shift), Feather: 0, Smoothing: 0, Anti-alias not checked
Select the background behind Santa on the left side and on the right side
Try to not get the border and corners
Effects, Plugins, VDL Adrenaline, Snowflakes and use the following settings:
Do NOT deselect!!!
~ Step 10 ~
Hide Snow 1 and unhide Snow 2
Make sure Snow 2 is the active layer
Effects, Plugins, VDL Adrenaline, Snowflakes and use the following settings:
Do NOT deselect!!!
~ Step 11 ~
Hide Snow 2 and unhide Snow 3
Make sure Snow 3 is the active layer
Effects, Plugins, VDL Adrenaline, Snowflakes and use the following settings:
Selections, Select None

Copy Element_winter_circle_angieSvoboda.pspimage and paste as new layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:
Move it down and to the left

Copy Element_snowflake_2_angieSvoboda.pspimage and paste as new layer
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:
Move it on top of the circle, right in the middle
(Look at my image for placement)
Make sure the snowflake layer is on top of the circle layer
Layers, Merge, Merge Down
Move this layer underneath Snow 1
~ Step 14 ~
Layers, Duplicate
Position this circle so we see half of it coming from under the picture
(Look at my image for placement)
~ Step 15 ~
Copy Element_winter_bliss_ribbon_angieSvoboda.pspimage and paste as new layer
Move the ribbon down and to the left a little bit so its under the first circle and the picture
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and repeat both settings from step 2
Move this layer underneath the first circle layer
~ Step 16 ~
Copy Element_RibbonTwist.pspimage and paste as new layer
Hide Snow 3 so we can see the ribbon
Move the ribbon in the top left corner of the tear up

Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 13
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the same settings as in step 2 but do not repeat the -2
~ Step 17 ~
Copy OstaraFibers-elements.pspimage and paste as new layer
Move the fiber on the right sidge

~ Step 18 ~
Copy Element_RivetButton.pspimage and paste as new layer
Move on top of the ribbon so it looks like its holding the ribbon
(Look at my image for placement)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:
Layers, Duplicate (do this 2 times)
Move both rivets and position them on top of the fiber border
(Look at my image for placement)
~ Step 19 ~
Copy inkStained-SunshineElement7.pspimage and paste as new layer
Position it on top of the fiber border
(Look at my image for placement)
Effects, 3D Effects, Drop Shadow and use the following settings:
Repeat Drop Shadow but change Vertical to -1
You can unhide one of the Snow layer if you want to make sure everything fits perfectly
~ Step 20 ~
Set your foreground to NULL
Set your background to white
Activate Text Tool and use the following settings:
Type Winter
Position it between the picture and the left side of the tear up
(Look at my image for placement)
Layers, Convert to Raster Layer
~ Step 21 ~
Activate Text Tool once again and use the following settings:
Type Bliss
Position it under Winter
(Look at my image for placement)
Layers, Convert to Raster Layer
***If you want to add your watermark it is now time to do it***

Hide all the Snow layers
Make sure all the other layers are visible
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Rename this layer Bottom
If Bottom is not the bottom layer then Layers, Arrange, Send to Bottom!
Unhide Snow 1
~ Step 23 ~
Edit, Copy Merged
Launch Animation Shop
Edit, Paste, As New Animation
Back to PSP
Hide Snow 1 and unhide Snow 2
Edit, Copy Merged
Back to Animation Shop
Edit, Paste, After Current Frame
Back to PSP
~ Step 24 ~
Hide Snow 2 and unhide Snow 3
Edit, Copy Merged
Back to Animation Shop
Edit, Paste, After Current Frame
Edit, Select All
Animation, Frame Properties and put 30
***If you want to resize your animation it is now time***
Just click on Animation, Resize Animation then you can resize using pixels or percent
Make sure Resize Type is set to Bicubic resample and Maintain aspect ratio is checked
View, Animation
File, Save
Give it a name and click ok on all windows until you are done
